Caroline and Mark were joined by family and friends from around the world for their intimate wedding on tropical Green Island just off the coast of Cairns. And what a magnificent day it was for them! The weather was perfect with plenty of sunshine. There was a breeze to keep everyone cool and all the day visitors had departed on the 4pm boat back to Cairns. They practically had the entire island to themselves!
Jennifer from MOD Films and I met Caroline and Mark for a pre-wedding photo shoot with just the two of them at 4pm. We got lots of beautiful sunny photos along the beach, arriving back at the ceremony location around 5pm. The ceremony was performed by Vivian Reid and included readings from friends and family, as the sun was setting over the Green Island jetty in the distance.
The sunset was pretty spectacular while we were photographing friends and family with Caroline and Mark. Jane and Francine played violin and flute in the background while the guests mingled with pre-dinner drinks and canapes. The perfect end to a beautiful day on a tropical island on the Great Barrier Reef!
Congratulations Mark and Caroline and thank you for asking me to be your wedding photographer, it was a real pleasure to be part of your special day.
Note from Nic:
Caroline contacted me after finding out she couldn’t have fresh flowers at her venue. It was only a matter of weeks out from her wedding and i was absolutely jam packed with orders. Not wanting anyone to miss out, i found a partly finished bouquet that was going to be in my store that worked with Caroline’s wedding and finished it off by working a few late nights for her. The bouquet was then shipped on an overnight courier to a family friend to make sure it made the wedding on time.
