At Nic’s Button Buds, we believe no wedding is complete without special members having their own pretty piece to show off.  We include a complimentary Buttonhole/Boutonnière with every small, medium and large bouquet.  However, it doesn’t stop there.  We can also make special pieces for your family – making sure parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends do not miss out.

I can hear you asking,  What is a Buttonhole / Boutonnière / Corsage?…………

A boutonnière (French: [butɔnjɛʁ]) is a floral decoration worn by men, typically a single flower or bud. The word comes from the French word for buttonhole, which is the British term for a boutonnière.

A corsage /kɔrˈsɑːʒ/ is a small bouquet of flowers worn on a woman’s dress or worn around her wrist to a formal occasion.  Originally named after the French word for the bodice of a dress to which it was attached, they were originally thought to be luck or ward off evil spirits

These days, the sky is really the limit for what people can wear.  From the most simple to complex designs incorporating special traditions, personality elements of the person wearing it, or any theme, our design is only limited by your imagination.

At NIc’s Button Buds, we have styles to match every bouquet and literally thousands of mix-and-match options – ensuring your Buttonhole/Corsage or Boutonnière (or whatever you choose to call it) will be a special part of your day.

We can make pin-style versions – that have a pin fixed to the back to ensure it securely attached to your clothing – or we can make wrist style corsages and wrist cuffs.

No wedding on the horizon? We have also made these up for people attending formal occasions who just want to jazz up their outfit with something special.  So don’t think you have to be part of a bridal party or going to a wedding to wear one of these.
