An Interview with Bride, Haley

The wedding was planned over 18 months

Location: Main Beach, Coochie Mudlo Island, Brisbane

Reception: Seminara Apartments, Coochie Mudlo Island

Favourite Memory: Walking down the Aisle and once I got to my hubby he said “did you see my surprise?, Look over my shoulder”, and I looked over and saw my brother standing as a groomsmen. That meant the world to me.

Funny Quotes: Me to my dad on the way to the aisle and I was having a moment: “Dad I think im having a heart attack I’m breathing to fast”, Dad said “oh at least the family will be here for your funeral”….. hehehehehehe

Advice for those getting married: Go with what you decide, don’t change your mind… and be harsh with your guest list!
Why did I choose Nics button buds?: Nic made me feel like more of a friend rather than a customer… I really needed that to know I was being looked after.

Hair & Makeup: The Glamour Bar by Holly Kur Did my makeup and hair. She was amazing and so open to anything, also had many other talents, helping out with bouquets, flower girls etc.

Flowers for Bridesmaids) Fern Wedding Florist. Chrissi Wilson did my bridesmaid bouquets and the corsages for family and the groomsmen, perfected the colour and everything I was asking for, very friendly and incredibly easy to deal with.

Note From Nic:

Haley asked me to make her bouquets in mostly white with a hint of a pale apricot peach colour.  She didn’t have a swatch to send so i only had images on the PC (which can be unreliable when it comes to colour matching)  I think though the end result was a really pretty bouquet, soft colours and matched in with all of the details of the wedding perfectly.  Haley was a fabulous bride to work with – its great when you feel like you are working with someone you have known forever, but in reality you have only ever spoken a handful of times 🙂
