REAL WEDDING

CHLOE & LEVI

14TH SEPTEMBER 2013

On the 14th of September 2013 at 2:30pm I married my best friend and soul mate. It was a perfect Spring day apart from a little bit of pesky wind but we didn’t let it bother us. We had a beautiful country rustic style Wedding amongst one of the most beautiful settings in Tamworth, Tangarratta Vineyard.

The boy’s got ready at home on the farm while the girls got ready at my parents’ house in town. We had such a great morning together being pampered having our hair and make up done and a few bubbles and laughs. While the boys drank beer (ginger beer for the young ones), did some clay target shooting and motor bike riding.

When it came time to head to the vineyard two beautiful Princess Vanden vintage cars rolled up to collect myself, my Dad and my beautiful maids out to the ceremony. It took us 30 minuets to travel the 15km to the vineyard, as we pulled up I caught my first glimpse of my handsome husband standing with the biggest smile on his face. It felt like forever walking up the isle with my Dad next to me, proud as punch of his little girl. And when I finally made it to Levi all he could manage was “WOW”.

During the ceremony we laughed, loved, cried, smiled and enjoyed every moment and sharing our love with our family and friends. We had a few cheeky promises to each other in our vows. My husband promised to shave his beard every day and go on long motor bike rides when he felt it was necessary, and I promised to bake him fresh banana bread every week and sell his bikes on ebay. But above all we promised to look after each other and enjoy our life together filled with love.

For our reception we had a home made photo booth set up for our  guests to use along with hand made baked treats and tea and coffee while we were out having photos taken. The guests had a blast with the photo booth.

Our decorations in the reception were stunning. My dad had made strawberry and orange marmalade for our guest favours. I hand drew a fingerprint tree for our guest register and we used an old shabby mirror to display our seating plan. The rest of the decorations were done by our amazing decorating team.

During the reception we had so many special moments from the Father Daughter dance to our first dance and celebrating with our much loved family and friends. All in all our wedding day was the most amazing day of our lives and we feel truly blessed to have so many amazing people around us.

A huge thank you to Nic for the amazing job she did on our bouquets and button holes they are simply stunning!!

A Special thanks to Chloe Alley for submitting this article and to her absolutely incredible photographer Karissa from Image Photography.
xx Nic
